What Is Mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process in which a neutral third party, known as a mediator, facilitates communication and negotiation between disputing parties to help them reach a mutually acceptable agreement. Mediation focuses on collaboration and problem-solving, allowing parties to express their concerns and interests openly in a structured setting. The mediator does not impose decisions but rather guides the parties towards finding their own solutions, making mediation a flexible and empowering approach to conflict resolution.

3 Reasons To Choose Mediation

Less Stressful

By opting for mediation over litigation, parties avoid the adversarial nature of courtrooms, reducing emotional strain and anxiety.

Cost Effective

Parties avoid the high costs associated with prolonged court battles, including solicitor fees, court filing fees, and other litigation expenses.

Better Results

Parties are in control of the outcome by being able to make decisions that take into account their needs and interests as compared to Court, where a Judge imposes a decision on the parties.
